How does pricing work?
We offer two pricing options:
Flat-Rate Pricing: A fixed fee based on your home size, condition, and requested services. Ideal for deep cleaning or move-out cleaning.
Hourly Pricing: Charges for actual time spent cleaning (2-hour minimum). Great for customized jobs.
How can I schedule a cleaning?
You can book online or by phone. We operate primarily 8 AM–8PM / 7 Days A Week with some evening and weekend availability. We also offer same day and next day cleanings
For first-time cleanings, schedule at least a few days in advance if possible. You’ll receive a 3–4 hour arrival window on your scheduled day. Many NYC clients book weekly, biweekly, or monthly recurring cleanings.
What is your cancellation policy?
We require 24–48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule without a fee. Late cancellations or no-shows will incur a charge as policy states. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to change your appointment.
Are your cleaners background-checked and insured?
Yes! All NY Best Maids staff undergo:

How should I prepare before you arrive?

- Put away loose items (toys, clothes, dishes, papers)
- Empty trash cans
- Secure fragile items
- Communicate any special instructions or priorities
This lets our team focus on deep cleaning rather than organizing, although we do offer additional organization services for your home!
What about pets during cleaning?
We’re pet-friendly! If possible, we recommend securing pets in a separate room or having them out of the home during our visit to prevent interruptions and ensure everyone’s safety. However, if your pet needs to remain free in the home, just let us know in advance so our team is aware and prepared. We use pet-safe products and our cleaners are experienced around animals.
How long does a cleaning take?
Standard Cleaning: 3-4 hours for an average NYC apartment
Larger Homes: 4–5 hours
Deep Cleaning/Move-Out: 4+ hours

Cash is preferred, but tips can also be given via payment invoice. If multiple cleaners work, you can split the tip between them.
